Collation & collaboration project. This is a exercise in creating individual parts, and then appending them together into a combined final output. The theme is 'Red Planet'. Project parameters: 1. Create an audio file of 10 – 20 seconds in length. This project could be musical, rhythmic, noise, spoken word, or a combination thereof. 2. If the submission, contains any sort of rhythm, the tempo must be set at 130 BPM. 3. The submission must contain a dominant representation of the musical note A440. For example, if only 1 note is to be performed in your submission, that note must be A440. Submit as many different creations as you wish. Audio files (such as MP3 format) can be linked into a forum post by using the 'Add Link' option (if linking to a destination such as your SoundCloud page) or delivered via email to: contact@collective13.com. Upon receiving your submissions I will append them together in my studio to create the final amalgamation file and share it back with you. Please share any notes, thoughts, suggestions, & requests you may have in this forum topic. Remember, we'll be curious to know how you performed your recordings (microphone, cell phone, etc.) and what tools you used to compose your submission. |
